Since entering private practice in 2014, Justin has devoted his career exclusively to personal injury law. For more than a decade, he has helped injured people navigate the legal system, pursue compensation for their losses, and hold negligent parties accountable. His practice includes motor vehicle collisions, commercial trucking crashes, premises liability claims, wrongful death actions, and other serious injury cases.

Throughout his career, Justin has handled a wide range of complex personal injury matters and has experience in all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, expert witness litigation, mediation, arbitration, and jury trial. That background informs both his settlement negotiations and his courtroom advocacy.

A Career Built in Litigation

Justin began his legal career in Minnesota and Alaska, where he gained hands-on litigation experience while still attending law school. During that time, he served as a claimant representative in employment discrimination mediations, worked as a deputy prosecutor, and clerked for a personal injury law firm. These early roles provided valuable courtroom exposure and a practical understanding of how cases are investigated, evaluated, litigated, and resolved.

After relocating to Oregon, Justin joined a Portland-based civil litigation firm focused on personal injury law. There, he represented injured individuals in a wide range of matters and litigated dozens of cases through dispositive motions, arbitration, trial, and final judgment. This experience refined his strategic judgment, strengthened his courtroom skills, and reinforced his commitment to advocating for those harmed by negligence.

Justin's commitment to advocacy has earned recognition from his peers and professional organizations. Personal Life

Justin lives in the Portland metropolitan area with his wife and children. He is proud to serve the community he calls home and enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, exploring Oregon's outdoors, and taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest's year-round recreational opportunities.
